I hear it will be either played on Thursday or Sunday and not on friday. Does anyone else have any idea of when it will probably be played?

The RFL only have the Fev v Leigh fixture listed so far. I'm sure the club will let us know in due course.

The one day I can't do is Friday night, so I blooming hope you're right.

Batley programme said rfl had said game to be played fri as next game in play-off would be following thurs.That means rfl have actually realised that one team will have week and one only 4 days turnround if played on sun.Perhaps they are hoping it will be Sheff who win cos they wouldn't let us have a decent number of days if they could avoid it

Surely somebody should know when (and where - Bramall Lane or Don Valley Stadium) this fixture is due to take place! Nothing on RFL or either club's websites yet.

So still no announcement , in theory Sheffield could end up giving you 3 days notice to play , are the RFL for real ? , The Eagles should have had this sorted before the Widnes game , there really is no excuse , if they couldn't confirm within one hour of beating Widnes they should have forfeited home advantage

Any chance of releasing the date/time/venue for this match? A week is a long time in politics but in Rugby League it flies by in the blink of an eye. At the moment, I can only [ispeculate[/i when the match might be and if I may draw your attention to your own feedback on Halifax RLFC’s license submission; it reads:
“……figures presented by the club as the budget and performance forecasts for the 2012-14 License period were [ispeculative[/i and the club did [inot provide sufficient information[/i”

I know what you mean – annoying isn’t it?

Would appreciate it if you could come up with at least a plan as to when this match takes place, given that there’s only seven days left to choose.

It was always going to be Sunday at Bramall Lane but Halifax have told the RFL they want to play on a Friday not the Sunday, sure it will all be sorted by tomorrow morning, looking forward to a good game.
