Was snapped up from Elland RLFC a season or two back having barely played no more than a couple of first team games. Full back. Had his choice of a couple of Soooper League clubs. Leeds too I think. A local lad from Stainland way.
Very talented lad. Hopefully can show us what he can do. Only 20 so still very raw as a player. Was a key player in the giants reserves so surprised he didn't get offered a contract there. Freddie was picked up from Elland from the under 18's so doesn't really matter that he didn't play many first team games there.
Good to see another local lad coming to the club. Hopefully he keeps progressing. Seems like another quality player has been thrown on the scrap heap due to SL clubs inability to do things properly. Least we are gaining from it though
