How good was last night's game?
I havent enjoyed an atmosphere like that at Headingley in some time. A big fervent away support excellent opposition local derby with real feeling and a good tight game with plenty of aggression and a hint of controversy.
More of the same please super League. My appetite is whetted. What will you serve up next?

A hell of a game Gareth. It was worth my long trip to see our teams go at it for 80 minutes and it's a shame it couldn't go along for longer. Lots of aggression in the game and a moment of madness from Sinfield which was a hell of a surprise to see. |

Am I being unfair in saying that I thought the quality was low? Hi intensity, lots of loose play and frantic as well as entertaining, yes, but not great quality for a large part.

At times the South stand was rocking last night, especially in the second half.

I can't speak for the atmosphere at the game because I had to watch on t.v but I agree with tad & seth especially from a Rhinos performance p.o.v.

It was pretty startling again how many times we messed up our last tackle plays. Not just the obvious ones with the Burrow pass to Peacock and Aiton's shocking pass McGuire, both of which should have led to routine drop-goals. It was a hot night and a hothouse atmosphere so maybe that got to the players but it's not what you'd expect from such a professional bunch. Some time on the training field required.
Cracking game though. Cas always was the best derby. |
