I think the title of the thread is misleading.
McDermott met with Hock and it went no further.
I wouldn't quite class that as "almost signing".

Koukash nearly bought Leeds Rugby Limited but the only thing that stopped him was it didn't happen. |

Obviously glad this didn't happen, but the fact we've been at various stages of bids for Hock, Burgess and Westerman in the last 12 months does suggest that we're actively seeking another back row forward.
