Don't be fooled by the DoR title - Sir Kev will no doubt have as much involvement as Lowes (if not more).
Perhaps I'm just cyncial, but DoR just stinks of preventing another Keiron Cunningham situation where a club legend has to get sacked when results don't go our way.

| My reading of Hetherington's comments is that Lowes' new job is basically to put the cones where Sinfield tells him to.

GH said Kev will "take over some of my responsibilities and all the responsibilities of the previous Head Coach." Lowes is effectively assistant, whatever his title, while Kev is Head Coach with a bit of CEO.

For an anouncement about the new coach, it does talk an awful lot about our new director of rugby. Lowes hardly gets a mention. Sir Kev will be running the show for certain. I think we should read Director of Riugby as Coach and coach as assistant. I'll happily take that.
