Mods instead of deleting a legitimate thread time after time how about we act like grown ups and offer a response. This board is dying as its become a joke and youre only adding to that.

The 'reporting' in the socalled RL press that has been discussed is click bait sensationalist rubbish that does the game no good. Frosties if you really are involved, that should be a concern for you that many think that. Be better than just deleting threads without reasoned debate.

Without explanation it just undermines the credibility of the usually very effective moderation here.

One of the mods clearly believes in free press but that doesn't extend to here. If that's the way it's going, this board doesn't have long.

It does feel a bit over policed on here at times now.

That style of reporting isn’t unique to RL or that media owner. They extract a potential morsel of a story from social media post and then manage to spin it into several hundred, often repetitive words, that don’t actually tell you anything or put any further meat on the bones.

I actively try not to click on that sort of stuff on my FB feed now as I know it’s going to be a non story.

Thanks for the updates on threads being deleted. I'm not sure why the thread was deleted either I even commentated on one of these myself.
I can assure you it is not the mission of the Mods on here to delete threads without reason (believe that or not) I know Mr Southstander has been in touch with myself on here to ask a valid question about thread deletion and rightly so.

All I would ask is to please be respectful of the current situation with regards to Ritchie & Helen and accept my humblest apology for the deletion of the thread in the first place.

Any queries / questions regarding deletions / issues / queries etc can be forwarded onto the Mods and we WILL work with you to keep this board in rude health.

For my two penneth, most of these LL "stories" are gleaned from forums, BookFace and Twitter and pasted off as "scoops" or from "ITK" sources.

I dont bother with any of the FB supporter pages as they are an absolute sewer, you can call these "Elite" groups all you want but they are just full of trolls and knee-jerk reactionaries.

Thank you for this response, it's really appreciated. I think the nature of the tabloid esque 'reporting' of Richie and Helens private life is what has prompted the response and calling out this type of rubbish.

see my post after, its the fact people think trawling message boards and rehashing dog poo "rumours" makes them a journalist. Press in this country is desperate to attract people with tales of scandal and clickbait.

Unfortunately the advent of social media makes it too easy to make a few quid with no integrity.

Whatever any of our players do (legally)in their private lives is none of our business!The Club pay them to play rugby and that’s the only area we should judge them on.

Leeds-Live in particular is absolutely awful. Poorly laid out, advert laden and not written well at all. Usually with a grabby clickbait title and no substance. Just rehashed from various other social media sources.

RL journalism is truly dire.

Click bait rubbish. Matt Shaw, Aaron Bower and Rugby League Live in particular.

Any of these sites, which I believe are all owned by the same media company? The sites are unreadable. Just full of adverts.

So what do we get? We get a click bait article. Full of rubbish on a rubbish website full of adverts. Lucky us.
