Tomkins favourite to be Man of Steel, with Roby just behind him. Wellens at 14-1 might surprise a few of his doubters on here, and two of Saints new boys in the top 10, in Hohaia and Laffranchi

He will be in there, along with a whole lot of other players. Obviousley there are not just 10 players eligible to win MOS. They are just selected odds not the full list of odds. Don't know where the full list is though, I'm sure someone will point you in the right direction.
My guess is he will be about 18/20 to 1.

| Surprised at Wellens!
Lockers is in for a good season IMO. He played too much of a defensively orientated game last year, but hopefully under Wane he'll be aloud a little more free reign to express his offensive side.

Why are you shocked at wello being in there? I take it, it's because of his lack of pace but then tip the slowest player in super league for a big year.

If Lockers played at FB as Wellens does then rightfully so I'd be concerned. But seeing as he plays LF where speed isn't as vital, it's not a concern of mine.
Anyway where's this notion that Lockers is the slowest in SL come from? I'd argue completely the opposite. For a forward Sean's always one of the first to be supporting a break. In fact I can think of at least three try's from this year that Lockers has scored from thirty meters out or more.
I'd hazard a guess that he'll be faster than the guy playing LF for you next year, Laffranchi.

| And I would hazard a guess that Laffranchi wont be playing at loose forward for Saints next season.
Wilkin will.
Laffranchi, Perry, McCarthy-Scarsbrook and Clough will rotate at prop.
Soliola, Flannery, Flanagan, Wilkin, Dixon and Puletua will rotate the back row.
Then theres Magennis who can cover any pack position bar hooker and Carl Forster, who I believe is being tipped as the next big thing at prop.
Come what may, Saints have too many back rowers for Laffranchi to be needed to play there.

| With fuel prices so high maybe you should consider getting a stack of £20 notes and burning them. Alternatively you could put it on Wellens to win MoS and buy a gas heater with your winnings. It's a hard choice between the two.

| Tomkins is a good bet for MoS which is why the short odds. Roby does a lot of the hard work which is overlooked a lot of times so I would not invest my money in him. Monaghan is another good player who does not get the credit he deserves, that would have to change for him to get noticed.
Best putting your money on an outsider Lomax could be a good bet. Young Players of the year have done well at MoS in recent years.

| I wonder what odds you could get on Lomax? Might be a cheeky outside bet if you could get 50/1 upwards.
I can't believe they're offering Brough and Peacock at tsuch short odds. Can't see many people taking that up.

Seriously? He gets overlooked but yet he's already won it and been nominated a couple of times?
