Dan played several games for Wakey 20's on a months contract but nobody contacted him after so he went to Salford. His first game was at Wakefield and there was a few surprised faces when he showed up with the Reds.

Not necessarily. Many a young player leaves the club they were at initially and goes on to become good at another club. He may still make it in Super League, only time will tell.
Another angle on it is that maybe our coaching isn't good enough? We've not produced a decent winger since Alan Hunte. |
