Some craft and a little bit of class , especially near the line. Lomax's kicking game tonight has been poor again and we just look lost at times, hoping we can barge our way over or cop a lucky break.
Can't knock the effort or commitment of the lads but it's clear to see we miss a player like Pryce or Long to crack open the tight defences. Were not the only team in this position though, the goons looked very 1 dimensional without Tomkins sadly there arn't many top class halfbacks out there.

Gaskell is already developed just overlooked. If the rumour is true that Brown is staying is Oz to coach Wests Tigers will you attempt to appoint Rush full time? If so Gaskell will be on his way.... to us. |

That Gaskell to Wigan rumour is unlikely given you've just signed 2 halfbacks. He is still a little rough but he will only get better with good coaching and games in the first team. |

Hohaia was anonymous tonight. So called big game players should be at their best for matches like this and he once agin looked totally devoid of ideas and disinterested. Until we get a 6 that can play, Lomax will always be behind the 8 ball as he has all season.
Overall, we totally dominated the opening 49 but they hung in there and strangled our attack when we got anywhere near the line. The try before half time was crucial and we were totally outplayed in the second half, notwithstanding some more shocking video referee decisions. Waterhouse was immense and showed our board exactly the type of player you can get with an overseas quota.

Leon Pryce or Sean Long in our team today instead of Hohaia and we would have been out of sight by halftime. |
