We know seijka will get a game so might as well play him where he should be, he wasn't terrible for his cameo last week.

I think now is the time to play the spine of the team as was envisaged for this season i.e 1,6,7,9,13

Assuming all fitness things being sorted, Mullany at FB, Gaskell at Stand Off, Siejka at Scrum Half, O' Brien at Hooker obviously and Addy at 13. The shirt numbers tell us the thinking on these positions.

No more faffing around playing people out of position. If James Clare is deemed a better winger than Omari Cari, then play him on the wing - otherwise he doesn't play. If Purtell is our first choice centre, then he plays at Centre and so on.

Biggest issue will be with Gaskell, if he's put I think we revert to my above team if he plays then as you are Paul with yours.

No word, but thats hardly surprising, if he is 100% him instead of Walshaw but otherwise id leave Walshaw lets see what he can do.

Lets not write off Fax quite yet, if they do us and themselves a favour by beating Wakey, they could go into the last game needing to beat us to play in the SL playoff game. And at the moment they could quite possibly beat us again.

Well, as so many people predicted, its come down to a battle for 5th - and all of the Championship clubs can still theoretically grab that 5th slot (or higher, but its probably not gonna happen!)

The next two weeks will show whether we are the best of the Championship clubs, and if we are then we'll get 5th (at least) and will be in that one-off game.

If we can't beat Leigh and Halifax then we certainly won't deserve to be in the game. In fact we'll have gone through the season without having beaten Leigh in 3 attempts and 1-2 win/loss ratio against Halifax. If that happens we will deservedly be in the Championship next year!

I'm all for playing players in their actual positions for his one, if possible. Siejka has come under heavy criticism this season, but he is, after all, a half-back, and potentially our only fit and available one come Saturday. Not really any point in putting him on the bench and playing a centre at 7.

I agree with that, though we have actually beaten Halifax twice already; Odsal and Blackpool, so if we lose the ratio would be 2/2.

If Siejka or Gaskell are fit then Mullaney has to play fullback. After the last 2 games I can't believe people are wanting inexperience at the back again for a big game like this.
