| I hope we don't let him go, at least until the end of the season. After his injury I feel he owes it to us to see the season out. We were the ones to take a risk on him with his injury history and he has only played about 5 games.

| Been good in the games he has played. But if HKR are paying for him to be released now (early) then we should take the money. As he only signed a 1 year deal anyway. Holmes at FB with Lawford in the halves is still a very very good combo.

| I can see both pov here. The best case scenario I think would be for him to go and Lawford to get more game time - AS LONG AS any money made/saved is invested in areas of the squad where we are weak - wing and/or prop

| Always inevitable. Show any sort of class and he’d be snapped up by another SL club. Worked well for both parties. We got a decent FB for a season and he’s got himself a SL deal again. We need to be looking at a replacement and not another bloody loan player.
We are skint so if we can make a quick buck offloading him now then so be it. It’s better than letting him walk for nothing at the end of the season.

| Presumably, they want him to replace Coote, who is retiring at the end of the season.
He won't be getting in the team right now, so why wouldn't he see the season out with us?

| It was mentioned in his pre season interview with SMTM that his time with us was to prove his fitness and get in the shop window. I remember at the time thinking he was using us as a stepping stone to better things.. I say offload him soon as if he isnt committed, better to get something back for him.

| Inevitable unfortunately. If he got fit someone would give him a SL chance. I’d be ok with letting him go if we got some funds for a replacement out of it.
What about a return for Pickers? Shipped out by Fev (who never needed him). Don’t know how much game time he’s even had since joining Fax.

That ship has sailed for me. He went for the money and I can’t see us offering him anything better than what he’s on at Fax.

Coote is injured, Ethan Ryan played at fullback against Wigan and broke his jaw. They had Dagger too but swapped him for Corey Hall so now I think they need someone.
Can't help but be slightly frustrated at SL clubs seemingly still opting to cherry pick [iour[/i players over other clubs. Don't they know we're rubbish these days?
Anyway I'd be on the phone to Rohan (again) and see if Hooley fancies a bit of game time while we scout for a proper replacement.

| Jowitt to fullback pls. Can't see Lawford getting a game and we need to keep Holmes in the halves and Lilley at hooker.

| Jowitt moving into the starting FB spot seems like the most logical step. Perhaps having Jowitt at 1 was always going to be the long term strategy once he was fully fit and Walker headed back to Super League.
