Cup ties for Super League sides v lower league sides at home always have paltry crowds. There was only 5,316 at Leeds as well. I witnessed Wigan beating Whitehaven 106-8 and it was tedious! Don't think their has been a competitive cup tie against a lower league side at home ever in my lifetime.

Now away from home its a different matter. Usually far more competitive and a good trip for the loyal fans, generating cash for the home side to boot. Play all these kind of cup ties away I say!

I am particularly worried about the attendance for the Quins - Saints game. Saints were there in the league only a few weeks ago so the thirst for travelling there won't be as high.
