Anyone know why Barrow have had issues with 4 player's VISAs? I know they are semi pro but would have thought this would have been sorted weeks ago?

Apparently criminal records complicated things, but I don't know the in's and out's.

If this is the case the players have nobody to blame but themselves.

Apparently Ryan Bailey was unavailable for Toronto's first home game for that reason, so they're not the only club to be struggling. Surprised the RFL haven't provided assistance to all clubs to get Visas sorted. But that'd suggest them doing something useful for once...

Surely it's up to the players clubs to sort? Halfway through the season, fixtures planned for months.

THe players and club between them know when they are going to travel and they need to get their heads together well in advance, to give themselves chance to sort out ant issues or, make contingency plans if certain players still aren't allowed or cant travel.

Finally, IF some players cant travel because they have criminal records then, so be it and clubs can take this into account before signing them

So do these same players have problems playing against other teams...no... So its likely that Toronto will sometimes play weakened teams when playing at home. Handy when the next best team in the division loses 4 players, completely devaluing the game.

Yes, it's completely Toronto's fault these players/clubs are inept at making sure their paperwork is in order, despite months of advance warning.

If Toronto get to superleague, Cas and Wigan are going to struggle to fulfil their away game then, unless they send their under 13s who should get their visa nps
