Gigot, for whatever reason, 'technically' refused to do the drug test. The punishment for that is, in the UK, quite clear. Other players have also 'refused' to do the test and, apart from those who have produced spectacular psychiatric evidence, have suffered the consequences.

Only 2 reasons a player would refuse a drugs test.

1...The testers and test is not within the rules and guidelines.

2... The player has something to hide.

He didn't refuse did he? I thought his ban was for abusing the tester? He actually had 3 negative tests in 6 months.
