Have the RFL decided on the Championship GF venue yet

Given it could easily be between Toronto and Toulouse , do they go neutral or highest placed finalist ?

It's a grand final so a neutral venue like Headingley or Warrington just like it always was.

Which goes against one of the reasons for bringing it back , which was to have a major end of season ' event ' game for neutrals and fans of the clubs involved

Having it at one of the participants stadia gives only 6 days to sell

From memory, it was always at Headingly, right? A cracking venue, although perhaps too big now. Warrington is a great rugby ground and would be a great fit.

As others have said, too short notice to sell tickets.

It doesn't really matter about the fans anyway, modern sport is all about advertising demographics and prawn sandwich sales. Stuff the actual fans.
Seriously though, we will be heading for another Wembley situation and IF the game is held in France / Canada or England, just how many fans are going to gamble on their club making the final and book flights and accommodation.
