One of the more interesting thoughts from a Cas fan on a different link was that they could never find another half back to stand out,when partnering Rangi,so they reverted to playing an extra forward in the halves.
A bit radical,that,but an interesting observation

I don't see an issue with half backs not being able to play together. Usually one attacks the left and the other attacks the right.

If this is true it seems like a massive F*** you to Sneyd and Fages. Especially Sneyd.

Supposing for a second it's true, that would mean Salford would have chase, smith (who despite rumours on here, koukash has said on twitter isn't going), fages, Sneyd and green.

Trouble is, a new Coach is going to want the players he wants. I can see Theo going out on a long term loan, which wouldn't be the end of the world for him, with Sneyd coming back as cover for halves and Fullback. Can see Smith having to give way if Green does come over. Who knows though...

This has got to be bullsi*t how can we have so many half backs. Sneyd would be a perfect foil with chase one creative and the other a perfect kicking game, Surely we need a winger, centre, hooker and a youngish prop!

Contain that outrage for a little while yet. There's a long way to go until next season. I'm sure there will be comings and goings before the start of 2015.
