I think I have posted some of these before.
They were taken the first year we went to Perpignan.
The whole weekend was fantastic, I will always remember the Friday night in the Sports Bar, it was full of Wire fans and I mean jammed. Wigan were on the T/V and lost to Wakey. The barman was so busy that Wire fans went behind the bar to help serve and wash up.
After the game fans of Les Cats stood outside the stadium and applauded us for the amount of Warrington supporters that had made the trip.
One of my greatest Wire memoires.
All the Wire players let me take their photos, but Paul Noone was a particularly nice guy to talk to, seemed a really genuine guy.
I was thinking that a couple of weeks ago when Carvel said he would replace Joel. I saw a picture on the wire facebook page (I think) and Wood looks tiny compared to know.
What are all them flags doing there in 2006? Don't people know that The Wigan Ultras started the trend of taking flags/banners to games? We mere mortals are just sheep. I can't believe I'm seeing this.

They're called The Brigantes are are awesome so, if you don't mind, please shut up about them. They'll burn our ground down with their coolness!

I thought The Ultras started the trend, though? They may well be The Brigantes now, but to me, they will always be The Ultras, and they just can't get enough.
Just another thing, is Paul Rauh still living in Warrington? He always struck me as someone who settled in to life in the town quite well. Didn't his son play for one of the service area teams as well?
