Lauaki is up for the Spear Tackle, but has got NFA for leading with the forearm which I find amazing.

Nope, I thought the lead with the forearm was very dangerous, it appears the RFL don't agree.

It's the right decision. Westwood completely overreacted to the leading arm from Lauaki. It was a penalty and no more, you see those kind of impacts every game, it was Fozzard's default move.

I bet Simon Grix isn't too happy, he's been on the recieving end of 2 forearm smashes to the face so far this season and neither player has had a ban.

It's extremely dangerous and it's crept back into the game this season. It could have easily have caused damage to Myler's windpipe.

The next time a Wire player leads with the elbow into a tackle he's got no fear of a ban at least. In their defense all they need to do is show the video of Lauaki getting away with it.

I just don't think it was particularly bad. More lazy technique from Lauaki than malicious I thought at the time.

Westwood could still get off. What's his record like? Players often find themselves given lenient rulings ahead of big games if they have good records.
