| Can some please explain to me how he hasn't got a ban for his antic on Friday. Just £300 fine.
Just goes to show who the RFL favours. Absolute joke of a decision.

Probably because he has a very good disciplinary record.

| NO not a joke the decision is based on the following.
" the tribunal took into consideration the significant provocation that led to the incident and the player's previous exemplary disciplinary record."
The disciplinary panel could not do much else after they let Sarsfield off with his offences and they pointed out the following:
" The review panel judged that: Player does make an aggressive tackle on opponent and does make contact with head of opponent during the tackle. Does become involved in confrontation with opponent however does not throw any punches. Sin Bin Sufficient."
So in other words they are saying late tackles on the ground, swinging an arm in to an opponent head while on the ground and head butting are all ok.
Ben Westwood will have a field day when he comes back from the naughty step.

| Peacock appears to have been elevated to something of a darling of the media, being a regular on BBC, SKY etc, which is fine by me as he has been a great servant of the game and is clearly very knowledgeable, irrespective of the fact that he is clearly no threat to George Clooney.
The problem I have is that this, rather than having a positive effect on his on-field persona, appears to have had the negative effect; every time I see him these days he is swearing and cussing at the ref, contesting every decision, niggling opposition players and generally doing a good impression of a Wigan player circa 1987.
This decline in players attitude to the ref is something I've noticed creeping into the game in the last couple of years and, allayed to the fact that refs seem reluctant to dish out 10m penalties or sin-bins as a result, is rather unsavoury. Peacock is one player I'd have expected to be above this kind of behaviour, but maybe I was wrong.

| 3 times during the magic weekend I saw players waving imaginary yellow cards! The delightful Mr Chase being one. Never thought I'd see that on a league field. That nonsense and backchat needs stamping out. Peacock is tarnishing his reputation a little with his gob, maybe Wilkin has been giving him lessons off camera
