No chance on this round I'd say, maybe once he's done his final big NRL deal. The reports linking him with SL are deliberate and put out by the agents of elite players in the NRL. They are looking for the NRL to match the marquee exemption and this is just part of the campaign to get that going. But lets talk fantasy anyway, how much do you reckon he'd come over for? He's rumoured to be on $800,000 AU, which is around £400,000. To tempt him now you are looking at probably £600,000, - £750,000 per season? Imagine the faces of the board members when that much money went down with an injury.
