I have been meaning to write this one for a little while, so with all the doom and gloom perhaps this is the time.

Have you noticed how many times Hilly has been unavailable through injury ? Since he joined us at the start of 2012 he has not been injured once, which is pretty staggering for a prop forward. He missed the first two matches in that year but I can't remember why (played 33). In 2013 he was rested twice, (played 32) and in 2014 was rested once (played 33). So far this year he has played in all 20 games and has racked up 118 games in total. So he has only missed 5 games in three and a half years. I think we tend to take him for granted tbh, but if we lost him to injury for a few weeks we really would have an injury crisis, he is practically carrying the front row on his own broad shoulders.

So his hammy is gonna go Friday now then.......Joking aside, he has been unreal for us!!

The fact he came back on v salford, then played the following week is unreal

And he often plays big minutes in those games too.

Without a doubt, he is pound for pound the best signing we've made during my time watching Warrington. Coming up from the Championship I had relatively low expectations, thought he may make a decent enough bench prop. However his development into the best front rower in the league and one of the best in the world has been absolutely staggering. Considering the minutes he plays and the work he he gets through, more or less carrying the pack on his own at times, that is one very impressive appearance record. We'd be knackered without him. I'm actually getting quite annoyed typing this and then comparing him to the waste of space occupying the number 15 jersey.

He is head and shoulders above any of our other players at the moment.

He also shows so much more passion and desire than the others, which is very frustrating.

The rest of the squad need to pull their fingers out sharpish before he gets fed up of carrying them all and packs up and leaves.

I don't think that there is much between Hill, Cuthbertson & Walmsley this year.

Awesome player. One of my favourite players to watch and first player I'd take from another SL side and put in my teams squad.
