I know we only saw him briefly but I'm very encouraged with what I saw and can see why he was highly regarded for his defence in the NRL. Any 1 one 1s he seemed to get the attacker down straight away-there was one tackle where he dealt with Carney very easily. I'm really looking forward to seeing him grow with this side.

He did seem very effective in defence,but i'm surprised he didn't stay on the field longer. Hope he isn't the new Roy or worse still,injured again.

Yes, hopefully he hasn't been rushed back due to lack of fit bodies or it could set him back.

I have to admit to being slightly alarmed by all that strapping around his knee. Let's hope it isn't a target for opposing props.

Just a precaution all that strapping, he does look like a tackling machine doesn't he.

The strapping is for injury prevention but his knee issues are well documented.

I do think he is an interim solution before we bring in another (not named yet) prop.

Like I would suggest such a thing....

I heard he was offered more than a one year contract but took one year. Since he's been part of
the squad he's hinted (in the Guardian) that he might be open to staying longer. He certainly seemed
more revved up and more part of the team spirit than Asotasi ever was. Fingers crossed he could be a
good un if he stays fit.

Strapping never stopped Brian Bevan!!!
