If there’s one positive to take (late win aside) it’s that the academy-bred back line looked good.   Shoots of optimism for the future, if we can get a decent talisman to replace George, and a decent coach.   Would McNamara work? 

Vaughan is good as gone. And his wife and kids are not to return after this season is what is rumoured. 
Haven’t we had enough of the homesick Aussie scenario yet?


Why take the risk that Vaughan’s form at 36/37 is going to be at least as good a handful of games it’s been in 3 seasons?


I can see more 6 week bans so he can fly home every chance he gets. 


We move on imo. 


We don’t need props on near marquee contracts at the age of 36/37, who put in as many great games as I can count on one hand in 3 seasons. 


As I said, the club is already looking at a replacement, origin prop.

Well judging by Duckie's irrational dislike for Vaughan - we're either not paying him enough (he's legged it from his cab without settling the fare) or we're paying him too much (he exclusively using Uber Executive to the chagrin of traditional cabbies).

He signed an extension a few years back with Williams it was the season when we won our opening 7 or 8 games then lost to Wigan..sky sports news announced it..if he's not on marquee money he won't be far off it..
