We lost fair and square so not going to complain, however as this is a rugby league forum I was just wondering any thoughts on how Ben Thaler and the video ref awarded a try .Just wondering how other people viewed it and your thoughts. Imo I hand on heart thought that the ball was knocked forward by a HKR player ?....

Horne never touched the ball in the tackle, it was a try.

I seen some strange trys in my time but this was the weirdest first I thought it was a try when you play it back great spot by the ref but I never heard a ref say to a player to put the ball down and score after the player pulls himself up thinking it was a knock on

And the relevance of a try from 3 seasons ago is ?

Thanks Funtime , exactly my point , if anyone cares to show me a more strange vid ref decision, point me that way. I believe today's try was bizarre and us rovers fans would have no complaints at it being awarded a knock on after some recent vid refs

One of those that if it's for you then you can argue why. If goes against you the your baffled. The vagaries of the video ref I'm afraid

I thought it were a try although I wouldnt have been surprised if it came back for a penalty for the ball steal. How long can the ref play advantage? I thought as soon as another Leigh player touched the ball it was essentially dead so should go up to that point. If its play on its a loose carry and the KR player knew nothing about touching the ball so I thought from there it was a try although Im not sure the ref should coach players and if Cockayne wants to put the ball down its up to him. Rather than shouting put the ball down it should have been waving play on or shouting it.

I was much more concerned at what happened right at the end.

Hooter sounds, we chip over, HKR collect and the entire Leigh team start to walk off leaving Blair a clear run to the sticks. WTF???????? Does points difference not matter?
