Brown was out cold momentarily. Any player knocked unconscious irrespective of Length should not re-enter the field of play so the right decision from me.

The quite deliberate elbow should indeed have seen red. However seemingly being hit high whilst perhaps ducking into a secondary tackler is (or should be) open to serious consideration. Children (and often the Judiciary, sadly) tend to look at the fallout from an action rather than the intent. Bongser does hope that there is no long term damage, but discussing concussion et al, rather than intent is, at best, childish when deeming whether further punishment is necessary.

Stewart's shot cant be defended it was as good a shot on the button as your likely to see. I wish we had a player of his calibre and agression.

Lineham, I was feeling the frustration for him he was our only decent player and has been throughout this mess, it was about the third time he had been pulled back or obstructed off the ball frustration got the better of him. But you cant swing an elbow at anyone.

yes he had a concussion test ... A medical Practitioner saw that he exhibited 3 category one concussion symptons i.e a Confirmed loss of consciousness, No protective action in fall to ground and Ataxia (unsteady on his feet)

from that moment on the very clever man or women usually called a doctor, can sufficiently say he is/or has been concussed and is not fit to return to the field to play a highly physical sport but he is ok to rest up and have drink of water....

Not sure I’d class either as deliberate, both made contact with the head and therefore they’ll get a couple of game bans, but I don’t think either Lineham or Stewart’s had intent.
