Ben Crooks up for 1-2 matches
McMeekin for NFA - 1 match. So he'll get off. It looks like Stewart contributed to the head tackle, by 'dipping', much like Adam Higson contributed to almost being decapitated at Saints by 'changing direction'!
As an aside, I see that Richie Myler received two 'caution' letters, for tripping in each of Catalans' Bank Holiday games. Interestingly, those were his FOURTH and FIFTH such citings in the last three seasons. How many does it take to constitute a punishable offence?!

Stewart was given a yellow card and a grade B charge, for virtually idenitical tackle against Warrington to McMeekin.

| McMeekin also got off flattening Drinkwater, as a dummy runner. Drinkwater didn't receive a head injury. Fair enough. However, could his action have had the "potential for injury", (RFL's phrasing) like Jamie Acton's push on Flanagan last season? (a push that earned Acton 4 matches)
Just a hint of consistency would go some way to restoring my faith in the citing/disciplinary process!

Similar result but hardly identical, the Cas lad was 3rd man in - which in some way could make it worse and more intentional

| So, it looks like McMeekin will get off, as he has an EGP to use, while Stewart misses at least one match, having failed the concussion assessment. What kind of justice is that?
Crooks, needless to say, doesn't have the benefit of an EGP. Back to having no centres against Leeds!
I just can't get my head round Richie Myler receiving two 'caution' letters for identical offences within four days. Perhaps they have made allowance for the first letter (from Friday) getting caught in the Bank Holiday post and arriving too late to stop him committing the identical offence on Monday?

Crookes has earned a ban, is there nothing mentioned for the headbutt
Fleming, Dawson, Brown, Patterson can play centre , plenty of options

Curtis Naughton deserves a game - done nothing wrong for me. Doesn't seem that the time in the sin bin counts? If in sin bin then man down - if not playing 13 men - only folk who suffer are the fans in the end.

| Ultimately I couldn't care less wether McMeekin gets a ban or not , he won't be serving it against us ' so nothing for us to gain , in fact better that he does play against our rivals
Again though just another kick in the nuts from the officialdom against ' The most penalised team in SL ' , in fact if I was Jukesy , I'd have a sign on the door from now on with that written in big letters as motivation , much like Saints changing room video after their battering

I know Steve, but where is the justice when the guy who was fouled, misses the rest of the game, plus at least the next one, yet the guy committing the foul, basically escapes the punishment.
Crooks is being punished for his illegal tackle, AND he was punished with a yellow card. Justice would have been served, had McMeekin received a card of some colour. As it is, he's got off scot-free. Wish we had some current England internationals in our squad - they appear to be so, so disciplined!

Just like McShanes disgraceful spear tackle on Hock in the 1 minute of our season , a deliberate banned tackle , not even a yellow , then McShane gets a ban , we all know what the result would have been if the positions had been reversed
But as I said ' I'd use it as motivation , and I'd make sure everybody knew it as well
