The move is with immediate effect, to replace Derek Beaumont in that role. The owner has a busy spell at work and feels Cunningham's extra experience will help the current coaching team. Cunningham stresses that he is NOT replacing any of that coaching team

I don't think this is the correct appointment I honestly think this is a step backwards saying that we will be going backwards at this rate back to championship

Can't keep employing folk ,maybe not a bad appointment, but does this mean we will hear nowt from Derek from now on?

Hopefully that's the end of him on social media lets himself down with stuff he comes out with. I know it's hard with the passion but sometimes it's best to say nothing

Maybe DB feels a refocus on his core business is required, to fund the next chapter -- which may not be what was expected. I wouldn't be surprised if Cunningham is in charge next year with Kieron Purtill (Saints link) as his assistant. Jukes + Cooke combo has been uninspiring, even if Leigh stay up.

Has nobody noticed how well Saints have done since he left ?

Not too sure about this appointment. He lost the dressing room at Saints and his dull brand of rugby alienated himself from the fans who once adored him. Hopefully he's come back refreshed and with new ideas that can help the coaching team.
