Is our game so desperate to compete that we have to pull in other nationalities to compete with the Austrailains and New Zealanders.
For me its an admission from the powers that be that our development plan is failing .

| Short answer is YES we are desperate for talent and YES the development plan has failed SL clubs seem desperate to sign an Aussie or Kiwi in important positions (halfback, hooker etc..) and to scrap our young players at too young an age some of them who are then lost to the game.

| I think there are too many overseas players in Superleague, we should have a cap of 1 per team from outside of the EU.
Only then will we be able to compete Internationally with Australia and NZ. It should improve the structures within our game and give youngsters a real career path, so they have realistic opportunities rather than being ousted by a second rate Aussie
