do we, as a unit, just stop trying in EVERY game ?

the 1st 40 today saw us put effort in and we were very unlucky to go in behind like we did due to that lucky try but 10 minutes into the 2nd half it was gone, its as if someone on the pitch gives a call and everyone stops.

We were being laughed at today by wire fans who couldn't believe how easy it was in the 2nd half.
it got to the point that they scored every time they had the ball - simply by throwing it along the line and walking over our try line without, at times, a single attempted tackle on them.

not one of their 2nd half tries had to be worked for and were simply walk ins.
it took us 37 minutes to get into their red zone in the 2nd half - 37 MINUTES !!!!!

I dont mind losing if the players give something but today and the last few weeks have seen very,very little in the way of effort.

Is it the coaching team or the players themselves to blame ?
I will say the players because they have to put the effrot in on the field, the coaches cant do it for them.

I like to think i'm quite positive about my rugby but at the moment the only positive i can find is that i've only got to endure this for another 2 weeks !

It seems that whatever was wrong when Brown left is still a problem now.

I know we will probably never know but the supporters for me are owed a statement from the club as to whats wrong. The players are as you say Daz just can't be bothered and are picking up their wages for (only just) showing up

Yes, I feel pretty ashamed of the group of players at the moment. It seems a strong word, but do they understand the pride we have in our home town? I guess the answer to that is a resounding no. The psychological damage being suffered by some players will not easily go. I believe the u20s lost by 90 odd too! Desperate.

had to laugh at the irony of the W#nky w#nky warrington chants. Doesn't work the week after a wembley win and 2nd int league.

You've looked totally rudderless the last two times we've met (today and the semi), big changes could be needed...

do you not think its down to us making zero yards up field, defending alot in our own half, knocking on, penalties whatever in the first half

which leaves us knackered in the 2nd half and therefore the bodies are drained and the onslaught begins...its our own doing putting ourselves in the situation

these warrington fans laughing at us... the same ones that we made a banner for congratulating not so long ago??

Dont thinnk it was supposed to suggest what the song says...........anyone who has known RL banter over the years knows that nearly all teams have or do sing that to Warrington as it was what Wire were affectionately known as through the RL world ....they obviously aren't w*nky anymore but people will always sing it !!!!
