Not a bad signing and one i'm very surprised at. Rumours around him not being totally committed fitness wise in his time at Rovers but never saw anything on the pitch that would suggest that.

We have Ollie Roberts, I would rather develop our own players than Hull KRs.

Happy with this, has always impressed me when playing against us and will add some competition which could mean the others try harder now.

we have money with lunt going and ferres out injured now for a while so makes sense, freshens things up abit

can see him coming in to play 2nd row or prop, gives options as we was struggling abit for them with taai/bailey/lawrence/hughes the only options in 2nd row now, lawrence and bailey being similar type of players, cox can bring good impact of the bench

roberts obviously not thought to be good enough just yet to step up

Roberts was developed by Bulls was he not? Got a lot to do to prove himself a Super League Player. Time will tell.

Yes he was. However he is now ours to develop.

He needs to be given an opportunity in order to prove himself.

I would have given him the chance. If he wasn't ready, then look at a loan.

He played a handful of SL games for Bradford last year and got rave reviews.

Big lad, often accused of not "punching his weight". However, that seemed sorted last year and he was coming on well. He's barking mad mind, big daft bugger.

Hope he goes well for you. It's possible that a change of club (either short term or permanent) could be exactly what he needs if he's to make a career out of pro-RL in the long term.

seems a bit of an odd one this - unless theres been an injury in training I cant see why the 5 we have aren't good enough.

Suprised by this as we're supposed to be dual reg with Halifax, but I can see it turning into a permanent deal if the initial month goes well. He's a big lad who runs hard, just hasn't done it often enough for me.
