Well done KR, a good win and two excellent Cup games this weekend. Nice for them to be back at Wembley again, Thought early doors Wolves were going to bury them but they showed some fight, Yorkshire day as well , All Yorkshire final, Lunt who !

Glad it's not another Wire v Leeds final and hopefully KR will put up a far better showing than Hull and Cas have done in the last 2 years. I think it's a massive ask but they will go down playing exciting open rugby and their fans should ensure it is a great atmosphere down there.

Lundy sealed it for KR well done.Shame we never got the best from him. WHY. All those who came on here knocking him,well he has had the last laugh has he not. Fear our season will fade out as usual.

To be honest I do not see it that way I think we need to have belief that we should finish 4th and aim for even higher. Cas last year and KR this believed they would go to Wembley from an early stage and that self belief would are helped see them through we should think similar about Old Trafford and until it can not happen think it is our destiny and whatever we need to do to get there we will do.

Might not happen but far better to go in with that sort of thinking than waiting for the season to disintigrate to nothing as usual.

A few thoughts from the game we can learn from. Albert Kelly felt he was hard done by a late tackle but got back up made the tackle and got an elbow in the face for his troubles but his protests did not lead to a penalty, yellow card or the team giving away points as a result of it, a lesson for Danny Brough???

Also Eorl criticising KR taking the two in the first half makes me think some of the team are not as keen to take the two as we do so often and perhaps backing ourselves when we have teams on the back foot is what will push us to the next level not taking the easy option of two points.

We are not far off being the real deal and to be fair it's not a great season in terms of quality and just get a bit of self believe on the big stage and it could just be our year.

How does a thread on Hull Kr getting to Wembley turn into another negative thread about us ????

I knocked him- because he wasnt performing as he was capable of in the claret and gold. Seems I was right then.

We did get the best out of 'LUNTY' until HE DECIDED HE WANTED TO LEAVE.Most who have knocked him probably knew more than you about the man and his attitude towards the club in general.None the less most will wish him and his new team all the very best for the final.Oh and why the hell do you bring in yet another stupid remark about how our season will fade out as usual?.You are simply a stirrer and not a very good one at that.

yes thoroughly deserved, it reminded me of us in 2009, so i could feel the emotions coming back when Lunt's try was awarded, wouldn't be surprised to see them win it now,

as for Lunt, he is history, good luck to him an all that but he didn't want to play for us so we move on.

What was promised to Lunt in 2015 didn't happen due to actions elsewhere. If Robbo had gone to Fev (they announced a 'Giant' signing in 2014 but that fell through when the Sheik bailed out on them), then Lunt would have been 1st choice hooker and given the minutes he wanted.

To say we didn't get the best out of him is a very strange comment. We signed him after he failed at Castleford and was back in Cumbria. He went on to achieve an England call up whilst with us - clearly we were getting the best out of him for that to occur.

Fair play to Lunt. He doesn't half come out smelling of roses. Last time he threw his toys out he ended up at Old Trafford, this time Wembley.

The unfortunate truth is that his heart is not with our club therefore we will not get the best out of him. So the best thing to do was get rid.

I've heard he is off to Leeds next year with Aiton going to Catalan.

With regards to that clown AmberGiant please explain how you have come to the conclusion that our season will fade out. Some of the rubbish you put on here makes me wonder if you even watch Fartown.

Still got a smile on my face and cant believe we are going to Wembley. Honestly didn't think we could turn our form round, three consecutive defeats and didn't score a point in every second half. Think its good for the game that the final has one non-top four side in it. Lets hope the Giants kick the trend in the super eights and get to the GF...
