He won't need reminding of any such thing; his body will never be sore enough for him to think otherwise.

It's also hilarious how he keeps being singled out for bad behaviour during the World Cup, when the real story seemd to be that nearly all of them were involved.

I don't blame Ashton for going to RU, given the peanuts he was on here at the time (even if he was extremely ill-mannered about it), but I'm guessing no-one told him that his face will never actually fit in RU, and unfortunately it's now too late for him to pass that advice on to his mate Joel.

Ashton doesn't need reminding he's playing Union, this is normal for Union.

Ashton isn't being singled out for his behaviour. He was involved in most of the negative stuff that happened in the RUWC. It wouldn't surprise me if he were dropped for the 6 Nations. I think that on reflection Wigan were probably right not to offer him a better contract.

As a former rugby coach I would have told Ashton long ago: "Stop your stupid swallow dive or you don't get picked".

Look, at the end of the day I couldn't give a toss about Chris Ashton. He's made his own bed and now has to lie on it. But this stirs up memories of Larder and Lydon carrying the can for the errors of others, and it just makes me chuckle.
