Great report, as always, and I agree strongly that yellow cards would have sufficed after the punch-up.
Thaler overreacted badly for me. Aside from that incident, the game was not played in a bad temper and rarely threatened to boil over, so why the red cards I've no idea. Even Wilkin's high shots in the second half incurred nothing more than pats on the shoulder from his opposite numbers.
That's the first time I've seen Thaler looking to make himself the centre of attention, a la Ganson.
