Aye - great to hear Euskaltel have been saved by Fernando Alonso.

This story has been doing the rounds for a few years and Fernando was named when Caisse D'Epagne were looking in trouble before Movistar came in.

I would expect a few significant signings by the 'carrot tops' in the close season. Would not surprise me to see Alberto Contador there who is a friend of Fernando.
