Not sure what others made of his return yesterday. He scored a couple of tries but he appeared to have lost all the pace that he was supposed to have. Looked fairly slow to me.

What did anyone else think?

I generally like him, and he has size and speed, but his attitude and work ethic worry me.
Good example was when a pass went wrong near him. It hit the flaw and the ball was free. He jsut looked at it and let teh Celtic players come past him and dive on it.
He needs some lessons from Sam and JD.

Not bad for a first run out. It will take some time to get back into full swing. Also a pacey winger is wasted at Wakefield. All that is needed is someone who knows how to finish and this kid looks like he does.

Chasing an attacking kick in second half, I also commented on how he looked a bit slow, but to me he's an out and out athlete and I'm sure he will with match practise and a good run of injury free rugby soon get back to his best.
Didn't he have the try dissalowed, in the DB sinbinning play? if so he would have got hattrick! not bad eitherway

thought he was poor, looked scared to take a high ball and was matched for speed by korki when chasing celtic player down field, after which he had to go lean on fence to get his breath...

He's our representative for the fastest man in Super League comp, isn't he?

I like him and would rather see him than an expensive import any day.

Yes he is our rep. in the fastest man competition and on yesterdays SL show Iestyn Harris tipped him to win it

First game back after a serious injury wasn't it? It's gonna take a while to get match fitness and confidence back.

he looks to have bulked up a bit. imo he looked about a stone and a half heavier than he did last season... that could be a reason for him not being as quick....plus he is out of match fitness.

All in all tho, with a bit of sprint training i think he will be back upto speed - pardon the pub.

Im not over worried, he still looks decent enough and is a young lad - he can only get better !
