Just wondering what peoples views were on the enforced break this weekend.

I personally think it could disrupt the rich vein of form were in and has perhaps come at the wrong time for us.

I would certainly prefer us to be playing this week.


... maybe next year.
I think they should be able to stay focused with the season so close to the end.

The week off will allow my heart to return to normal after two near heart attacks in the space of a week !!

Negative effect : players could get lousy throughout the week and start to lose concentration or maybe think that the two games should be an easy wins. could pick up injuries.

Positive effect : Players get to rest through the busy schedule, come back and be raring to go. Also get into terms where so close to where we want to be and getting prepared (Looking through tactics)

Good thing, the players will be busted and need a rest.

A few bodies got smashed on Sunday so probably a good time to rest.

Training as normal, no extra days off this week

I would have thought a couple of days off and than build towards doing a job on Widness who are talking tough in the build up to their last 2 games.
If they are to avoid the wooden spoon, they will have to beat ourselves or Warrington (and Cas lose their last 2 games)
It feels like we are already playing cup footie, as a defeat will put paid to our play off hopes, but if we remain unbeaten.........................

For me (hope) the rest will do them good, and get over knocks, this goes for Widnes too it will be a good or bad thing, but if both teams are fired the reasons being, them avoid wooden spoon and us fighting for top eight, it is going to be one hell of a battle, and a heart job, unless we do what we did in the first three games.. I would like us to do a Cas on them..

It'll be a good thing - en extra week to get over any knocks and niggles, in the run-up to the two games that could define our season.

I quite like RA's tactic of deliberately taking it down to the wire - the last few games of the season are usually dead rubbers, but not at Wakey!

Lets anyone with a slight injury to recover but that works both ways would sooner it be this Sunday if Im honest.The one good thing is we are at home as though I think it will be a close first half and us go on to win comfy I would have thought away it would have been close the whole game.

Time to heel and time to focus on what two wins could mean to the club and the supporters!!!
FWIW i think we can do it, and if/when we do it will go down as some achievement by us all!!!
