No I’m afraid you’re not wrong but the British media needs a quirky northerner to make it authentic. I was hoping for better but hey. In a way though I’m glad nobody can understand home because he talks a lot of rubbish imho.

He is sometimes hard to understand. Accent and teeth seem to work against him.
Personally I like what he has to say.

Also I know Wilkin isn't popular because of the way he played but I really like him on TV.

What did you think about Wilkins comment last night pre game on Wakefield only winning when the opposition play bad? Can`t stand the man and what he has to say about about hard working honest rugby league clubs, do you remember his rant on BBC on how ridiculous is it that Wakefield and Cas get an equal say in the SL voting system as the likes of Saints as we invest nothing towards the game? Then started talking about how pro players shouldn`t be expected to go get changed in our changing rooms?

Sure JJB doesn`t have the best verbal presentation skills but I`d rather listen to him any day over Wilkin and what he has to say about the game.

I don't have to agree with everything he says to like to listen to him.
He is allowed an opinion on Wakefield.

Wilkins offers nothing, he lives off the back of other presenters.
He's never given Wakefield a decent shout and always sticks the knife in.
PTwhat an earth do you find interesting about him, he was a slug when playing and he's carried on with his punditry.
A bit lazy from sky to offer him up surely other candidates are available.
Just have to give him a tough time when he turns up at BV, he will have plenty to say about the stadium.

I agree. I think someone like Jason Robinson would have been a lot better….or why not a different RL legend linked to the home side every week?

I don’t doubt your right... what he says may be good and relevant... but I really wasn’t joking... I understood less than 30% of what he said... and what I could interpret was not full sentences ... just random words...

A balanced opinion yes, he's been on Sky twice this week and hammered us both times, he's fast becoming an authoritarian on all things bad at Wakefield, would you like to stick your neck out and say he'll say something good about us tonight.
