Looking back at it, probably not but it's worth a try.

The RFL think they have the best system in the world so nothing will change.

I'm all for improving the desciplinary process but the petition is not factually correct so asking for the wrong things

As fans, when Neil Hudgell slammed the RFL for being "unfit for purpose" and making "a number of inconsistent decisions", we agreed wholeheartedly. To prove his point, the Hull KR chairman compared the dangerous throw by three Widnes players on Richard Whiting, and the less dangerous throw by Justin Poore. The three Widnes players were let off with a caution, as the disciplinary committee couldn't determine a culprit, however Justin was banned for three games.............=#FF0000but they got Poore's decision right. He not only lifted but continued driving to the floor when he could see exactly what would happen. It is a biased comparison.

Many of us current fans and any potential fans of Rugby League, are being driven away from the sport due to the appalling state of the committee. ............=#FF0000there is no evidence ofthis


We would simply like for the disciplinary committee to be transparent, consistent and be independent.....=#FF0000clearly you don't know how it works. It is already transparent as they publish all details before the event and the results after the event. The committee is independent of any rugby club or official. They are chaired by an external rep, and with ex players and/or coaches on the panel. They are aiming for consistency by setting guidelines for each type of incident. Whether they are consistent in their labelling of the incident is up for opinion and I am not convinced on recent form.

If this doesn't occur, many fans are or will boycott the Magic Weekends and unsubscribe to Sky Sports. This will have severe financial consequences for the sport.......=#FF0000that's like saying "if you don't retweet this a puppy will die in Sandal" so a bit pathetic

So if the petition had a solution, and the facts were correct I'd consider it but it's a waste of paper right now.
