I'm fine with Lino. 
He makes less mistakes than most and does a heck of a lot that is good.


And he's better with Trueman.

Do you think Powell gave Russell the 7 shirt to give Lino the fire to demand he is the 7…… similar to Pratt not getting a starting centre number after having a break out year. 

We were good last night and deserved the win but the scoreline did blow out a bit on the back of 2 interceptions and that last minute try.
Other than that the game turned on fine margins. They were millimetres from being in front at half time which would have made the 2nd half a different proposition. 


In a refreshing change we were the beneficiaries of the VR referees whims and interpretations but on another day they can go against you and you find yourself chasing the game as the momentum switches to the opposition.


Finally, they’ve got a few players capable of making something from nothing and we need to be ready for a much more concerted effort from them in the Cup game.


There are 7 teams sitting above us in the League table and we’ve played 6 of them with the exception being Wigan. To have 6 points and be in the CC QF is a dream start given the daunting opening fixtures we got. Fantastic effort from everybody at the club, their feel good factor around the City is tangible!

It’s a good job that Leigh had already got 1000 tickets cos after last night and the KR result they probably stay at home, it will be another Wakey win hopefully and keep Derek quiet in the flats 

I think he wasn’t sure who his starting halves or starting centres would be and allocated the numbers accordingly. 

Both Lino and Pratt have won their shirts though and they are now theirs to lose.
