Was saying this to my brother during the game yesterday, and coincidentally Gary Schofield mentioned the same thing in his column in the Star today (OK, not that it's anything to brag about having Gary Schofield agree with you, especially since the rest of his column was complete and utter b*llocks).

We seem to employ a large number of "robotic-like" players. All graft, no real skill that can change a game. Same old same old in style: get the ball, run it in. Can't really do anything else with ball in hand.

What players would you class as robotic-like in our team? And which ones do you think are worth keeping?

I'd go with:
Dowes
Cusack
Radford
King
Burnett
Tickle
G. Horne

With Dowes and Tickle being the only ones really needing to be kept hold of, and Burnett who could develop his game a bit more. (Although we now also have Cusack for another year IIRC?)

As a balance is needed i would choose to keep Cusack and Burnett from that list. Burnett shows more than graft at times and is getting betterm Cusack is by far the best player on that list.

Burnett is quality now for his age and in the next few years will become a world class 2nd rower. He can carry the ball in hard and take a few with him! He also runs intelligent lines(another who will benefit from long). Needs to develop a mean streak though, and considering he's a very good boxer he should show that agression more imo.
