I'll vouch for this.....It is an experience. A really good day out. Our FunPLane trip a couple of years ago saw the majority of our 120 passengers having the day before the game out and about getting a bit 'cultured'....I can assure you all......Getting cultured at a wine tasting trip is CLASS   The BBQ and entertainment is also top quality.
Dave Foti is a bloke that we owe a lot to....He busts his ass to give us Brits a great weekend away.

We went to the ground too on the Friday night to watch the Sky game, cheaper beer than town and if Clint Greenshields missus is there then its well worth going  |

Just to check for info really!!
We are very interested in both these events, but we land in girona at approx 5pm Friday night and have our transfers booked with CST. Where do we stand with this as it is my first time to France and am not sure of the transfer travel times!!
Would we make it in time?

If traffic is good, you might just get to Perpignan for about 7.00pm. If you are staying in central perpignan, you could make the BBQ. If its at Brutus, it is walkable, but a taxi wouldn't be too expensive.
I would recommend it - when we went with the funplane we had a great time both at the tasting and BBQ. |

| The BBQ at the stadium Friday night will not be going ahead , this is due to the weather causing the stadium work to be late for Saturdays match !!! . So i,ll be at the Bourse pub for the match, dinner and beer , hopefully see you there.

I can only remember there being 1 pub directly near the ground. I went in 2008 with CST (who I recommend). I remember supping in said pub when a pi$$ed up local vagrant turned up. A chorus of are you Cookie in disguise broke out and the intoxicated stink-bag bloody loved it. Anyway, great place, great experience and I'm sure you'll love it. |
