Be interesting to see what we do with Whiting if Calderwood comes straight back in. I dont think Whiting did himself any favours last week in his claim for a HB spot this week.

Would be harsh to judge him on such a limited opportunity. I think he deserves at least a full game to have a crack at the position.

Oh I agree he deserves a chance but IMO his performace levels have been steadily dropping over recent weeks which might go against him getting given that chance.

I disagree that his performance levels have been 'steadily dropping'. He had one or two brilliant games earlier in the season and maybe hasn't hit those heights for a while, but he's been consistently good overall with the exception of a couple of games.

With those games falling in the last month or so, to the point he actually had a poor game against Bradford. He is usually Mr Consistency but he has been below his own high levels recently.

I didn't go to Odsal, so I'll have to take your word for that. He does have the odd bad game like anyone else, I suppose. He'll come good again before the season is out, and I reckon he's still in with a shout for POTY. I also think a change to a more pivotal position would do him the world of good.

I hope to god that Calders is not in on Sat, watched him in under 20,s last week and IMO needs a few more games to get back on track before he goes into 1st team......was very rusty in defence and allowed every ball that was kicked to him bounce before he attemped to catch it......understandable that he is rusty in view of the time he has been injured just think this week is a little to early or he may find himself an easy target.

Wakefield not having Obst on the park is a massive bouns for us that is a fact , but cooke and king will have their say i am sure of it
