IF Long plays with an achilles problem on Sunday then the club are simply stupid, it's not as if he's even made that much difference this season, would rather see Williams and Obst myself.

How much must Nicklas be gutted right now, both 'star' halfbacks are injured, would have been his big shot and showing the rest of the league he's got what it takes.
I agree with the OP though stupid to play an injured player at this stage of the season. Surely it would be beneficial to rest him till he is 100% and get Horne to the best he's ever going to be again and get them both on the park at the same time than have Long out later when Horne returns.

according to some there is nothing wrong with him. the bloke is taking his money and taking the pi$$, the sooner he retires the better, you can count on one finger the decent games he has had for us, agree give Obst a go. |
