Great read as usual thank Wilf.
On the subject of video refs, over here in the NRL, we have them in every game. Now they don't always make the correct decision (Ben Galea being one of them) but at least the officials are given the opportunity to take another look at the play before making one.
I understand the SL are looking to incorporate the 2 refs per game idea. From what I have heard and read in your diary, with the inept standard, 2 refs will surely make it twice as bad! If we can't get 1 decent ref in the pitch, where are the SL going to find 2?
