Very sad news, I always enjoyed listening to his commentary.
He was so passionate and Knowledgeable about the game of Rugby league and will be sorely missed by all within the game and particular the City of Hull.

Just had a listen to Humberside for the last hour, never caught many of his commentaries as I'm at the games, but some of the replays brought back some good memories.
His Rochdale play off commentary from 2003 will always bring back memories of a great day out. Mike White really struggled to hold it together at times tonight. A fitting tribute to the man from the BBC.
