Bit of a shock.
Good on him. He's been consistently excellent for a few years now and I reckon he'll rip it up out there. We've all been saying for ages that we need more French players at clubs in Super League and the NRL outside of the Dragons, so it would be churlish to complain.
Yes, it leaves a bit of a hole in our front row, but lads like Mickael Simon and Julien Bousquet have an opportunity to step up in the manner that we've been praising Kev Larroyer and Antoni Maria for doing in the back row. It may hurt the Dragons in the short term, but long term for French rugby league it has to be a good thing in giving more lads a chance at the Dragons and improving Casty as a player.
Good luck to the lad. Can't wait to see him out there.
