Full credit to Wire, they fully deserved the win, but why when Silverwood has officiated am I left with a bad taste in the mouth. Two very bad calls at bad times, I was on high at Wembley, he was taking Leeds back 12 to 15 metres at each set, Warrington 10, why? I know a lot of people hate Leeds but why did the RFL let this known Leeds hater have the match? I woud even have preferred GANSON and he is from Stains.

Silverwood is awful but he didnt miss tackles, drop the ball or step aside to watch Wire score easy tries! We didnt play to our ability and Warrington were by far the better team on the day.They fully deserved to win that match. I cant understand why the Leeds team were trying to push up the middle when A, we didnt have a real prop forward on the field and B, Warringtons pack is far bigger than ours! Foolish play! I have to say, it may be interesting after next year when McDermott takes over, im not convinced of our currebt style of play, it doesnt suit our players one bit!

Correct but Silverwood is a disgrace. Went to screen when Leeds scored but failed on 2 occasions to do so when Warrington did and they were 50/50 calls.

You're right, silverwood was a disgrace. How he missed the forward pass for smiths try is beyond belief. And baileys attack to the head. I think 30 - 0 would have been a truer reflection.

For me Silverwood got the forward pass to Hall wrong at 8-0 down which we would quite possibly have scored from but the biggest decision he cocked up on was Atkins second try, Riley was clearly offside when it came off Mathers backside and going in at 14-0 down was a mountain to climb.
That said Warrington were awesome on the day, their defense looked impenetrable and I thought they were going to nil us and their kicking game put ours to shame. All the Warrington players played well, you couldn't pick out any of their players that weren't on top of their game, Briers, Mathers, Atkins, Hicks had a MOM performance and their forwards totally bossed ours whereas there were many Leeds players who didn't turn up.
Well done Warrington, time will tell whether we can pick ourselves up from this weekend but at the moment it doesn't look good

But Silverwood could not have gone to the screen for either of them and I still maintain that 2 Leeds players took themselves out of the game by running past the aerial challenge showing no intuition as to what may happen, had they been clued in Riley wouldn't have gone 10 yards

I'm sorry if the forward pass rule is too complex for you to understand but there was no forward pass from McGuire to Smith for the solitary Leeds try.

Sorry, my mistake. I forgot that no anti-Leeds comments can be made on this site. Silverwood was to blame for all Warrington's tries, all the tackles Leeds missed, all the dropped balls and after thinking about it, I think 6-0 Leeds would have been a much fairer scoreline.
