I've just read some posts on a Knights forum and they seem peeved that's he's leaving them. In a struggling team it sounds like he's been a standout player. Happy days!!!

He has always had outstanding stats, but for some reason he has always been in and out of firstgrade.
The guy nearly always runs more than 100 metres and nearly always makes 20+ tackles - usually off the bench.
I think the problem Wayne Bennett has with him is that Wayne hates offloads, and Cuthbo is a compulsive offloader. He is actually a very good offloader, but Wayne would prefer he stop doing it. Something Adam doesn't seem able to do.

Good signing, and not on overseas quota neither due to family heritage.

Not sure whether the quota makes a difference. I doubt Leeds will have more than a token overseas players. Will mainly be made up of British, and homegrown.

Sounds a good signing. Is he a Peacock type player? Sounds different to a Kylie type, but could he fill the Peacock role long term? Or are we looking for a change of tact, and him and a.n.other looking to share Peacock role?

Just incase we needed another player in the squad that's all. He's obtained an English passport and has confirmed he wants to play for England.

I may be wrong, but I seem to remember someone saying that the quota system is either no longer in effect or wont be. Non-fed will stay though, which he will count on.

Having read the rumour last week from Moley on Twitter, I watched the recording of last Mondays Knights v Eagles game to see how Cuthbertson went and have to say was impressed and said to the other half that I'd be very pleased if this rumour came true. Hard grafting, solid in defence, drove the ball in often, most times broke the advantage line and had a few offloads as well.

Will count on the Non-Fed Trained rules though. But like Gotcha says we won't be anywhere close to that anyway with just Moon, Delaney, Cuthbertson & Achurch on it.

As posted on the rumours thread it makes the squad for 2015 interesting as GH has said the whole squad are signed up which I hope isn't the case.
With Tonks & Baldwinson returning ,Yates yet to play and Foster to return I'd hope 2/3 are moved on that's without mentioning Grange and Mulhern who hopefully get retained but possibly sent out on season long loans.

I can see Baldwinson becoming frustrated with the odd call up here and there next season. So far in his short career he has not exactly displayed much staying power or patience. Expect to see him at Wakey or someone similar after a season or 2.

And then in 4 or 5 years when he's matured into a top class forward he'll end up at saints or wigan and we'll be bemoanin why we never kept hold of him while leuluai and peacock toil on for 80 minutes week in week out half dead into their early 40's.
