I agree it seems bizarre to announce Hampshire's loan that at the same time as saying that Tomkins will be out till Easter.

i sincerely wish sam a very speedy recovery. as imo he will put bums on seats and bring a greater media presence to our sport and also that he's a very good player too and one that i have missed whilst he's been away
