I dont go on the Widnes forum mate but if thats the case then what i've heard is true.

Rejected several contract offers from us and rumours are that you have offered him a deal. Big hitter with a good work rate, he should develop well at Saints if he signs.

What position does he play?

Prop, although he could play second row given his body shape.

So if we can't afford Sam Burgess, I guess he's our second choice....

21, which is puzzling given he was in the reserves for Barrow on loan from Widnes reserves and only made it into their first team this year. Must be a late starter.

I thought he was younger than 21, as you say must be a late bloomer.

I've been impressed with him this year - the Vikings pack is soft as this year and he is one of the few who puts his hand up every week. Strong in defence and doesn't shy away from any work.

In the right environment he has the potential to be a very good player.

If James gets injured next year then our props will be bryn and ostik.
